About Surf Riot / Oddytude

MORTLE combines classic tattoo culture with modern streetwear.
Our designs are inspired by traditional tattoos, old flash sheets, and an aesthetic that has always been a bit rougher than the mainstream. Bold illustrations, striking lines, and clean shapes meet heavy fabrics and relaxed, oversized fits.
We aren't interested in chasing short-term trends. MORTLE develops motifs with their own character—somewhere between tattoo studios, streetwear, and subculture.
Our motifs are designed independently and with great attention to detail. From the first sketch to the finished shirt, the illustration is at the heart of everything we do.
From Surf Riot to MORTLE.
MORTLE emerged from several years of independent streetwear work under Surf Riot. What began with influences from surf, skate, and punk culture has evolved over time toward tattoo-inspired illustration and modern streetwear.
Today, our focus is clearly on MORTLE.
For now, Surf Riot remains in the shop as a small independent collection—with select designs for those who enjoy the original mix of surf, music, and streetwear.
Consciously produced.
Our products are predominantly made on demand. Production only begins after you place your order. This allows us to avoid unnecessary inventory, overproduction, and clothing that ends up going unworn.
Depending on the product and the destination country, we work with different production partners to ensure our designs are realized in the right quality and that orders are fulfilled reliably.
We prefer to produce intentionally and create clothing that is worn often and for a long time.
In short.
Bold lines. Heavy cotton. Traditional Tattoo. Modern Streetwear.
That is MORTLE.
